Welcome to Studio Definire. By purchasing or accessing the Foundational Sewing course (the “Course”) through this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them before purchasing.

1. The Course

Foundational Sewing is a digital, self-paced sewing course covering topics including straight stitches, pockets, zippers, collars, and hand stitches. The Course is delivered through our website using Tutor LMS, with video content hosted via Bunny.net.

2. Rolling Content Release

Foundational Sewing is currently offered as a pre-order. Content is released in stages over approximately two weeks following your purchase, rather than all at once. By purchasing, you understand and agree that:

  • Not all lessons are available immediately at checkout
  • Remaining lessons will be released on the schedule communicated at purchase or via email
  • Purchasing during the rollout period does not entitle you to a discount, refund, or credit while waiting for full access

3. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe via WooCommerce. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

4. No Refunds

All sales are final. Because this is a digital product, we do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for any reason. See our full Refund Policy for details.

5. License to Use

When you purchase the Course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view the Course content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Share, resell, distribute, or publicly post Course content, in whole or in part
  • Share your account login or access with others
  • Download, copy, or reproduce videos or materials for redistribution
  • Use the Course content to create a competing product or course

6. Account Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Access may be revoked if these Terms are violated.

7. No Professional Guarantee

The Course is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific results, skill outcomes, or that the Course is suitable for every skill level. You are responsible for following instructions safely, including safe use of tools such as needles, pins, and sewing equipment.

8. Intellectual Property

All Course content, including videos, text, patterns, images, and branding, is the property of Studio Definire and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that content to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Definire is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of the Course, including any injury resulting from sewing activities undertaken as part of the Course.

10. Changes to the Course or Terms

We may update Course content, these Terms, or our policies at any time. Continued use of the Course after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
